Before this blog get too bogged down with 'shippy' things, I thought I'd share a day by the sea. On the ferry me and Zim headed to Manly, drank coffee, slept on rocks, found some bushland and met an Echidna.

I've been putting off talking about this as part of me still cannot believe this is happening. But in April, if all goes to plan, I'll be leaving Australia six months before my visa is up. Part of me is upset about this, because I love this country. I've had such an amazing time. But some opportunities are too good to miss. As mentioned before, although I lived on the southern swan, I also work on another tall ship called the Soren Larsen. A few weeks ago I moved aboard and now, in one week, I'll be sailing across to New Zealand on a two week voyage and then hopefully aboard for the whole South Pacific tour.
The round trip will last seven months and I'll be one of the cooks.
People, this may get a little bumpy!
